HIGHLIGHTS
The annual PEI Street Rod Association (PEISRA) Show & Shine began in 1978. By 1982 the show had become the 4th largest of its kind east of Montreal. In 1985 they hosted the Mini-Nationals East and had more that 485 cars registered from across Canada and the United States. In 1991 PEISRA hosted the Canadian Street Rod National Show.
2011, their 33rd year, had over 335 vintage automobiles registered from as far west as Ontario and as far south as Florida.
The PEISRA assists many Prince Edward Island charities and organizations, too many to name.They also contribute to the Holland College Foundation with the Morley Kemp Memorial Bursary, established in 1989. They also aid in various community causes, parades and other events. 1991 Tourism Industry Association of PEI – King’s County Hospitality Award. 1997 United Way of PEI – Recognition for being listed in Top Ten Accounts. 2003 Mayor’s Award- Town of Montague
