Won his first championship in 1966 at New Maryland

Won more than 70 trophies; and 12 special awards, including, Nine-time Speedway 660/NBIS Most Popular Driver; Most Dedicated to Profession Award; Riverview Ford Lincoln Hero of the Sport Award

Inducted to the Minto Sports Wall of Fame in 2007

Started racing in 1964 at Barker’s Point Speedway near Fredericton, driving a 1953 Ford flathead

Besides Barker’s Point, in the next four decades he raced at: New Maryland, NB; Thebeau’s, Minto, NB; Old Home Race Week, Woodstock, NB; Keswick Speedway, NB; Brookside Speedway, Nashwaaksis, NB; Speedway 660 (formerly New Brunswick International Speedway, Geary, NB

He retired from racing in 2011 (at 69) at Speedway 660 after a top-five finish in his No. 04 street stock
