HIGHLIGHTS
Jack was both a racer and an organizer.
Racing bikes was his lifelong passion.
He started racing at age 14.
Some of the Bikes he raced: 1945 Harley in a Norton Chassis, 1959 Matchless 250, BSA Gold Star 500, his Suzuki 250 home-modified bike, 250 Ducati, 500 Suzuki, 2 – 1974 Kawasaki 400 triples, 750 Honda, Honda NS400, mid-1980’s Honda Interceptor and a Benelli.
Jack’s race cars were a formula V open top, a Datsun 510 and an Omni Hatchback.
Jack headed up the construction of Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie, NS. – The first lap on the track was ridden by Jack on a race bike.
Jack had many victories but his most impressive were the wins at Mosport Park Ontario, Daytona International Raceway Florida and Briar Motorsport Park New Hamshire.
In 2004, one year after Jack passed away, he was inducted into The Canadian Motorsports Hall Of Fame in Toronto.
